Social Media & Marketing Executive
We are Laura James. We make and sell beautiful home & garden furniture. We are in a period of growth, and it is an exciting time to join our team in Pangbourne, Near Reading, Berkshire. With the customer at the heart of our business, we work as a team, to break boundaries and get things done to ensure Laura James delivers quality furniture day after day to our growing customer base.
We have a fantastic new opportunity within our Marketing team for a Social Media & Marketing Executive to drive our social media strategy, engage with influencers, add creative flair to our SEO strategy and support the running of the ecommerce platform.
Your role is to come in with passion, drive and ideas to increase our followers and acquisition of new and existing customers, increase engagement and drive sales with our creative, and inspiring content.
You must have some social media experience, in particular Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest (with knowledge of TikTok and YouTube an added bonus). You must have a keen eye for detail and good writing style, with the ability to adapt to our tone of voice whilst including facts and figures. You will be managing all social channels for the brand, planning the strategy for paid and organic advertising as well as establishing an influencer strategy and relationships. In addition, you will be working to understand the customer, bringing insights to the team to allow us to develop the brand and reach our audience (as well as finding a new one!). This will include bi-annual research with external agencies to understand our NPS score and work with the results to shape the brand and communications with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce team to develop and deliver the brands’ social media strategy and tactics, setting KPIs relevant to each channel against brand and commercial objectives, such as increasing following and engagement metrics
· Creating a rich mix of video, GIF and stills content to meet the requirements of the business and deliver results for each platform: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Tik Tok and Blog posts etc in line with our company values
· Source and implement commercial-driven brand collaborations for influencer partnerships, promotions, and giveaways
· Analyse trends in customer interactions, developments in social media, digital technologies, and competition to plan our campaigns and achieve the maximum ROI
· Responsible for driving revenue growth across all Social Media Platforms
· Owning the channel content calendar, ensuring it is constantly updated across all channels with copy and assets.
· Source and implement commercial-driven brand collaborations for influencer partnerships, promotions, and giveaways
· Be in-the-know with the latest online and social media trends, as well as educating yourself with platform updates and changes to maximise brand growth opportunities
· Asset creation and scheduling for organic and paid advertising using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Later etc…
· Report on all channels including follower growth, engagement, traffic, conversion, sentiment for trade meetings and company updates.
· Using analytics tools and providing reports to show improved campaign and account performance.
· Attend photo and video shoots, capturing video content as well as supporting with any admin and production.
· Managing the consumer research with agency support
· Any ad-hoc Marketing duties which arise such as website support, email, and SMS.

· Have a strong knowledge of all social channels’ workings with reference to Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
· Aware of the latest developments, news, and trending topics to put forward reactive ideas, content or activities that can elevate our brand and earn additional exposure
· An understanding of influencer marketing
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
· Confident verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude.
· Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Photoshop, GA, Klaviyo, Shopify and Meta Business suite.
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
· Ability to work & manage workload independently
· Strong attention to detail
