Job description
What’s the role?
Bray Leino is a leading integrated communications Agency that offers growth through creativenergy® – something you’ll need bags of as our new Social Media Designer.
You’ll be working in a team that lives and breathes social for our Clients. Alongside the Social Media Lead and a Social Media Content Creative/Writer, you’ll create monthly, weekly, even daily social content for a diverse bunch of brands.
It could be a thumb-stopping graphic for a famous bag of crisps, a TikTok promoting a new skincare regime, a food hack for an airfryer company, a serious LinkedIn announcement for a global energy behemoth, or a reactive tweet about the next big thing in cheese.
You’ll be happy throwing ideas around, helping bring them to life, taking care of the words, sharing your wares with Clients, and going again when necessary.
How and where?
We’re based in the beautiful South West, with its perfect balance of nature and culture. We’d love you to join us at our North Devon or Bristol offices Mondays and Tuesdays. You’re very welcome the rest of the week, or you can work from your own creative playpen at home.
What do you need?
Passion - for brilliant social and digital design. Understanding the specific design requirements, behaviours and what’s evolving within social channels.- A team-player - possessing a love of collaborating within a tight social team to make the work as brilliant as it can possibly be.
- A multi-tasker - the ability and flexibility to work across a number of brands at any one time.
- Enthusiasm – the next big thing in social, advertising, tech, and culture is always on your radar, and you love being part of it
- Experience – you’ve got time under your belt doing this kind of thing and have a portfolio to prove it, plus a proficiency for all design software programmes and the ability to create a variety of assets – from Reels to Gifs.
Values
More generally, you’ll be expected to:
Be the spark. Have and share ideas that excite everyone. Be the difference maker.
Be that person you respect. Put yourself in their shoes. Appreciate differences. Help whoever needs it.
Be the ball. Celebrate wins. Learn fast from losses. Bounce back together.
Be on the money. Think like an owner. Make wise decisions. Take smart risks.
Be a straight shooter. Tell it like it is. No jargon. No bullsh*t.
Be the boss of you. Take responsibility. Own your stuff. Be in it. Be on it. Make it happen for our Clients.
What will you get?
A negotiable package that looks the rest of the industry squarely in the eye, built around your level, responsibility, and contribution. This includes the usual basics like 25 days leave, rising to 29 after two years’ service, plus monthly half-day Wellness Wednesdays/early summer finishes, team socials, BHSF healthcare plan, electric car scheme, share incentives, and more. Let’s talk.

- We keep things simple, so our recruitment process should be quick and pain-free

- You may need to visit us a couple of times to ensure you meet everyone you need to
- For some roles, we’ll likely ask you to show us your portfolio

Responsibility
If you’re keen to work with an Agency that is a positive force in its local community and takes responsibility for the people and world around it, you’re in the right place. Or perhaps it’s better to say we are. At the heart of our business is a house in the glorious Devon countryside. By its location, surrounded by greenery and wildlife, it naturally makes us value the environment. And by its nature, as a former family home, it automatically makes us value being an inclusive and welcoming space for all.
To make sure we live up to those values, we’ve created a new Responsibility Plan. So that wherever we are around the world, we do the right thing for our Clients and ourselves and everyone around us.
It’s focused on:
A SUPPORTIVE CULTURE
