Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant
Are you a social media enthusiast who spends hours online? Do you have an eye for viral content and know exactly what's popular on all major social media platforms? Do you have a creative flare for writing and understanding literal procedures? If so, then we have the perfect job for you!
At The White Kitchen Company, we’re looking for a Social Media & Content Executive. Our new person will be responsible for managing our content output both on Social platforms and the company website. Have you previously worked with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube channels? Have you created Blog articles, web page content and conducted live interviews? If it’s yes, then you are just the person we are looking for!
Who are you?

- You have an eye for viral content, creators, and what's popular across all major social media platforms.
- You’re a confident and independent thinker who can express your opinions and ideas.
- You're familiar with terms like retention, shareability, ad breaks, and trending.

- You have an impeccable work ethic and a passion for social content.
- You have excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
- Scheduling posts across our platforms
- Optimise copy to give the content the best chance of high performance.
- Sourcing viral content across the internet that matches our brands.
- Staying up to date with all platform trends, features, and how to best optimise content.
- Having the final sign-off for all content being uploaded - Ensuring there are no glitches, spelling mistakes, or content-breaking issues.
- Moderating and replying to comments and monitoring the inbox.
- Understanding how to grow channels on all platforms. This includes coming up with & executing a launch strategy, as well as a long-term growth strategy.
- Reaching out to other pages to get our original content featured on their platforms.
- Other social media management tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent in English, with impeccable grammar and punctuation skills.
- Excellent copywriting skills & understanding of how to optimise copy for each platform.
- Enthusiastic about social media content and strategy. Passion for growth.
- Experience with all social media platforms, including understanding of content guidelines & monetisation policies for each platform.
- Understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging & sharable content.
- Previous experience working in social media management.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
Bonus Points
- Able to design attractive thumbnails, graphics, and decks.
- Basic understanding of copyright & media laws.
- Experience managing social media profiles with many followers.
Please Note:
- Office based. Hours are Monday – Thursday 8-45am to 5.15pm, Friday 8-45 to 4-15pm
