Social Media Content Creator

Our ambition is to make Domino’s one of the UK and Ireland’s most exciting and alluring brands. A key part of this is having consumer-facing social channels the public love. Working within the national marketing team at Domino’s, the focus for this role will be to create exciting and alluring visual content fit for social across our UK and ROI channels – content that is designed to engage, be shared and stop thumbs from scrolling.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating organic social-first exciting and alluring content fit for Domino’s owned channels in UK and Ireland
- Will work collaboratively with Social Copy Creator, Assistant Social Media Manager and Big Dip Studio to ensure all content is on brand and fit for purpose
- Creation and delivery of social assets – including but not limited to stills, videos, gifs, audio in line with campaign timings – which are designed to gain impressions and trigger engagement
- Remain on the front foot with latest social content, trends and adapt/adopt for Domino’s
- Can turn around content quickly to ensure it is relevant and suited to social trends
- Can optimise and tweak content in line with audience response
- Has an analytical eye to assess suitability of all content produced and assess results post publication
- Can take Domino’s customer insights/observations and turn them into assets
- Social native thinker
Knowledge Skills & Experience
- Knowledge or experience of various editing tools including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, Canva
- Knowledge and experience of creating and editing content natively and for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
- A nose for comedy and love of popular culture – knowledge of celebrities, footballs, soft news and TV particularly important
- Knowledge or experience of Sprout Social or similar social management platforms desirable
- Team player, this person will be an important collaborator in our in-house social team
- Good judgment – a misstep in social media can lead to brand reputational issues
- Willing to work flexible hours and prioritise e.g. during a large football tournament or TV launch night
