Contract Type: Full Time Permanenti.
The Role: Manual and physical role. Successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, organization and planning skills, good teamwork skills, ability to multitask and be flexible
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Work to warehouse times and schedules
- Plan workload and routes accordingly in line with deadlines taking into account quickest routes, fore seeing possible delays and overcoming these
- Deliver and collect stock and supplies from stores and warehouse
- Courier important documents cash and ensuring safe delivery
- Work well within team
- Demonstrate good communication skills with colleagues and customers
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain upkeep of vehicle, reporting repairs and maintenance when required
- Ensure vehicle is registered and insured at all times
- Knowledge of UK roads and its driving road rules
- Adhere to UK road regulations and laws
- Ensure all passengers including driver wears seatbelt whenever vehicle is in motion
- Ensure no smoking inside vehicle
- Assist in warehouse and store duties when available
- Receive and store stock as per warehouse standards including loading and offloading the vehicles
- Driver for employees and guests on instruction ensuring they also follow the SOPs
- Ensure no unauthorised person drives the vehicle
Skills required
- English speaking
- Manual Driving license for 2t van
- Clean driving licence
- Ability to lift 25kg
- Valid to work in UK
