About the team
With an active audience of over 850k across our accounts, social media is a major way in which ZOE connects with our community and shares our science.
As both the first touch point for future customers and a place for engaging existing members, being part of the social and community team at ZOE means being in a constant conversation with our community: educating them on the future of nutrition and offering practical tips to put these insights into action.
The ZOE Social and Community team manages the social accounts for the brand and its key spokespeople to build an engaged community of brand advocates. The team works within the wider marketing team, including the brand campaigns, PR, influencer and content marketing teams. As well as cross-functionally with the product, operations and customer support.
ZOE consistently produces new research, podcasts and articles meaning there’s always exciting science to share on social.
About the role
The social media and community associate will be reporting into our Marketing Manager with a goal of helping establish a members community and continue to build social media presence and establish a presence on new channels. You will be involved in filming content, community management including responding to messages and comments on our social channels and in our member community, pitching content ideas from trend analysis, building our social presence on new channels, including tiktok, understanding analytics of social performance to drive future strategy and writing engaging social copy to help more people learn about nutrition science. This role will play a critical role in building the ZOE brand and helping us to scale towards our mission of improving the health of millions.
You'll be
- Living and breathing all things social and love to share ideas about nutrition through writing engaging copy
- Content creation: recipes/explainer videos with our scientists/promotion for the ZOE science & nutrition podcast
- Community management: responding to messages from our community and being a regular engaging presence within our member community, moderating and suggesting ideas for retention to build advocacy for the ZOE brand.
- Copywriting: writing social copy to communicate nutrition science into actionable social posts.
- Video editing for TikTok and IG reels
- Always on the lookout for the latest trends in social media that could be applied to share ZOE’s ideas.
- Helping to execute the social calendar, maintaining cadence of regular posting to drive growth of ZOE’s social channels.
We think this role would be a great fit if you are:
- Experienced with content creation, community management, copywriting and video editing
- Obsessed with all things social and on the ball with new trends
- Fast moving: producing 12 posts a week across three main accounts
- Flexible and adaptable and willing to try things and fail
- Passionate about health and nutrition and communicating science
