Job description
We are seeking a volunteer Social Media Assistant to join a team of vibrant social media professionals to learn while contributing to creating and sharing content. General responsibilities:
Provide support to the social media team in regards to creating and generating content for the organization.
Responsibilities specific to the role:
Brainstorm campaigns
.Create social media posts.
.Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns
.Research industry innovations and tools.
.Update posts to include relevant keywords for search engine optimization.
.Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
.Manage all promotions and advertisements.
.Review analytics to assess success and recommend improvements for future ads.
.Develop strategies to increase followership and engagement.
.Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner.
.Developing and implementing effective social media strategies.
.Creating content that attracts the attention of the target audience.
.Scheduling social media posts as per the plan.
.Monitoring social media metrics and KPIs regularly.
.Coming up with innovative ideas and concepts.
.Working in collaboration with Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing teams.
.Assisting Copywriters, ensuring the content is attractive and engaging.
.Maintaining a healthy relationship with industrial professionals.
.Researching new concepts and ideas and proposing them to the team.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
Genuine interest in the cause supported by the International Organisation for Peace-building and Social Justice (PSJ UK)
Experience of providing support to social media teams.
Good interpersonal skills – ability to deal sensitively with people.
