Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Media and Marketing Officer to join our team. This is an exciting in-house role working alongside a high-calibre and passionate team within the Marketing and Communications Department.
The role:
Day-to-day you will work with colleagues across the Marketing and Communications department as well as with colleagues in our services gathering stories, creating content, as well as running our social media channels. You will work with an external agency on certain content pieces and overall marcomms planning alongside our Marketing Manager. This is an organic and paid social role and experience of both would be beneficial. It’s not your average social media role though, we work closely with our fundraising team and because of that have, and plan to expand, our social media fundraising products so this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social media professional to take on new challenges too. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of social media in any sector.

Requirements of this role are:
- You are a member of the PVG scheme (paid for by Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans)
- You will have a 6 month probation period
- You participate in all staff training and development and maintain your own professional development
