As the Social Media and Content Manager at Motel, you will be at the forefront of shaping our brand's online identity and engaging with our global audience. You will drive the creation and curation of captivating visual and written content across various digital platforms. Your expertise in fashion trends, digital marketing, and social media strategies will be essential in enhancing brand awareness and fostering a loyal online community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and content strategy that aligns with the brand image and business objectives.
  • Create visually compelling content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest, showcasing our products and brand values.
  • Curate user-generated content and collaborate with influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Conceptualize and oversee captivating photoshoots, videos, and fashion editorial content that reflect our brand's aesthetic and resonate with our target audience.
  • Write engaging and relevant copy for captions, blog posts, emails, and other marketing collateral, maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone.
  • Monitor social media trends, fashion industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and strategic posting of content, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a personalised and authentic manner.
  • Collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and sales teams to integrate social media efforts into overall marketing initiatives.
  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, optimising for
  • maximum reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Analyse key social media metrics and produce regular reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media platforms, algorithm changes, and digital marketing best practices to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
  • Drive innovative content concepts, including interactive experiences, competitions, and immersive storytelling, to deepen customer engagement.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, visuals, and quality across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record in a Social Media and Content Manager role within the fashion industry, showcasing successful digital campaigns and content creation.
  • Strong passion for and understanding of fashion trends, aesthetics, and consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creative storytelling.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, analytics, and trends.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and online retail strategies in the fashion industry is a plus.
