As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Runners Need and Snow + Rock to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!
How will you make an impact?
- Leading the development and overseeing the execution of our social media strategy across existing and future channels
- Balancing third-party partner and trade marketing communication within our social media strategy
- Developing channel plans relevant to each platform and our target audience
- Overseeing delivery of our social media plans across channels including Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Strava
- Partnering with our creative and marketing teams to develop compelling and engaging social content using a variety of innovative formats, ensuring all activity delivers against the brief
- Working closely with the Head of Marketing to shape the ambassador program, ensuring cross-functional and collaborative ambassador campaigns are developed
- Managing the social media budget and relevant monthly processes including purchase order generation, kit orders, ambassador fees, boosted content and other costs
- Setting, tracking, and reporting against growth and engagement KPIs
- Managing and developing the social media team
Please note this role is 40 hours per week.
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Strong experience building and delivering social media strategies across multiple platforms including Meta, TikTok and YouTube
- An understanding of different social content formats and channel-specific needs, and experience with social media tools such as Later or Sprout
- Experience working across consumer brands, either agency-side or inhouse
- Budget management experience
- Familiarity with all stages of the creative briefing and production process, including working studio, copy, and video teams/agencies
- The ability to coordinate multiple projects and support others
- Experience operating in a management or team leadership position
