Job description

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Insight Manager, working on Sky Sports website, apps and Sky Sports social channels including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a digital and social media insight expert to help shaping the future of Sky Sports.
What you’ll do:
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance insight for Sky Sports’ website and apps and social media platforms.
  • Proactively identify editorial / strategic opportunities through insights based on complex analysis of engagement data from multiple sources.
  • Being responsible for ad hoc projects including reviews into major events and presenting data back to key stakeholders with the ability to identify key learnings and recommendations for future projects.
  • Support the Head of Social Media and Audience Development in partner management relationships with social media platforms.
  • Supporting the Head of Digital Media and the product and technology teams around platform performance and development.
  • Continuously developing methodologies employed to improve editorial and commercial decision making
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience of working in media, delivering digital and social media insight and analysis, preferably in sports publishing, using multiple software tools for insight and metrics gathering and reporting.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision making at both junior and senior level
  • Ability to provide conclusions/recommendations for key stakeholders which are based on evidence from research and analysis carried out by you or other members of the team.
  • Clearly and confidently present or communicate findings/insights.
  • Excellent verbal, mathematical, written communication and organisational skills.
  • An enquiring mind that thrives on new challenges, problem solving, and a dynamic environment with strong experience of working in a quick-paced environment with tight deadlines.
