Are you excited about creating inspiring content that tells engaging stories on social media? Informative and appealing content and engaging social interactions are an essential part of how we inspire our visitors to visit, join and connect with us.

We have a vacancy in our South Visitor Marketing team for a Social & Content Executive. You will be an important member of the Visitor Marketing team responsible for implementing marketing campaigns through social and web channels to drive visits to our sites in London and the South East including iconic places such as Dover Castle, 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield and Eltham Palace.

You'll be responsible for managing our regional social media channels, producing engaging and creative content for them and the property pages of our website. You will also ensure all content meets core professional standards, is consistent and delivers on our brand promise to bring history to life.

In this highly collaborative role, you will develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, so it's essential that you are a good communicator and can manage several different priorities. You'll need to have a curious mind to search for the best stories as well as having a real ability to understand the motivations of the audiences you are aiming to reach.

This is a full time role on fixed term contract for 12 months with the flexibility for hybrid working between home and our offices in either London or Dover Castle. The salary is dependent on skills, experience and location. The starting salary for being based at Dover Castle is £27,509 and the starting salary for the London office is £30,565. There will also be regular travel to sites across London and the South East.
