What you'll do


As SOC Manager, you will be a key part of the SOC team which provides monitoring of SIEM systems, managed firewall & IPS services and more for both Vodafone and its customers. Identifying trends, gaps and patterns along with automating repetitive tasks, your primary focus will be ensuring the SOC operates efficiently.


  • Investigate complex security events and perform Incident Handling activity as necessary
  • Produce/Enhance/Refine Monthly Reports for internal and external audiences
  • Configure/Tune SIEM alerts, Managed Firewalls and IPS systems
  • Monitor Threat Intellige Experience of working as a Cyber Security Analyst, ideally in an telecoms/ISP environment
  • Ability to interpret logs and events and identify patterns of behaviour, indications of compromise
  • Incident response co-ordination
  • IT and Network Security – Windows, Linux, Firewalls, IPS, Security Appliances.
  • Interact with other Cyber Defence, Security and Incident Response teams, within Vodafone, with customers and suppliers.

Who you are


  • Experience of working as a Cyber Security Analyst, ideally in an telecoms/ISP environment (3yrs)
  • Ability to interpret logs and events and identify patterns of behaviour, indications of compromise
  • Incident response co-ordination
  • IT and Network Security – Windows, Linux, Firewalls, IPS, Security Appliances.

Security Clearance: This position requires the eligibility and ability to obtain and hold UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
