Join our Security team and experience bringing intelligent technology and advanced threat expertise to organisations that form the UK's Critical National Infrastructure, this specialist team helps to simplify their day-to-day cyber security operations, enabling their own people to focus on their bigger strategic priorities.
What you'll do:
Part of a 24/7 shift team providing monitoring of SIEM systems, managed firewall, IPS and other security services for both Vodafone and its customers. You’ll provide 1st line triage of incoming alerts, owning to resolution or escalating to 2nd line where necessary, and ensuring that all tickets are managed within SLA. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of customer reports and monitor threat-intelligence feeds.
Monitor SIEM systems and investigate security events and alerts- Monitor Managed Firewall and IPS Services
- Raise incident tickets and liaise with customers (internal & external)
- Monitor Threat Intelligence – internal, open source and commercial
- Assist with the production of security reports for internal and external audiences
Who you are
Experience of working in a SOC or similar operational environment- Ability to interpret logs and events, from IT, Network and Security Systems
- SIEM Experience: Huntsman, ArcSight, Splunk
- Knowledge of IT and Network Security (Windows, Firewalls, IPS, Web Proxy, Email Relay etc.)
- Demonstrate interest and enthusiasm for Cyber Security including threat landscape
- Eligibility for DV clearance
