Role: Product Manager
Hours: Full-time (4-day working weeks, Mon-Thurs)
Salary: £38k-£52k pa
Location: Remote position, with 1-2 meetings in Bristol/London each month
Reports to: Technical Director / Clinical Director
Start date: February - April 2023

What is Good Boost?
Good Boost is a multi-award winning social enterprise that delivers digital therapeutic exercise programs for people living with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions like arthritis and back pain. We offer a land-exercise app (on users personal phone at home) and an aquatic-exercise app that we deliver in partnership with local leisure centres throughout the UK. As a team of clinicians, researchers and engineers we develop artificial intelligence powered technology to enable personalised rehab-exercises be delivered as individual and group sessions.

Role summary
The role of Product Manager is for someone who’s excited about breaking new ground in community health & wellbeing and growing a new model of local exercise-rehabilitation and wider wellbeing services. You should be experienced in digital/app product management and manging a products development and success through balancing the needs to customers and the resources of the internal development team. Having an understanding and experience in the leisure sector, as leisure venues are our primary customer groups, would be advantageous.
Your role will focus on building on the existing success of Good Boost’s technology and streamlining our technology development needs and managing product development timelines and feature development. You will work with key internal stakeholder from the clinical and technical team, in addition to gathering feedback from our customers and users to inform future product development.
You will have excellent organisational, project management and communication skills in addition to strong analytical, leadership,, performance evaluation and problem-solving skills.
Main Responsibilities
•Taking overall responsibility for the success of the Good Boost health & wellbeing software services
•Taking the lead on project management for the Good Boost product development and feature improvement
•contributing towards product strategy and vision
•meeting regularly with all stakeholders, including product developers, marketing, customer service, finance and company heads
•collecting analysingand responding to user feedback
•managing one or more budgets
•gathering and evaluating ideas and opinions
•planning new features and changes to a product
•demonstrating new ideas and features to stakeholders
•creating timelines and roadmaps for developing the product
•attending conferences and events related to a product or sector
•implementing or supporting marketing campaigns
•creating and overseeing development and project management processes
•inspiring and enthusing colleagues and users of the product
•learning about users and a product's market
•researching competitors and similar products
Knowledge/ Qualifications
•Minimum 3years post-graduate/ post-training experience in relevant partnership/commercial/delivery roles
•Demonstrable experience of product manager roles for other digital / health / leisure / sport or similar product to Good Boost.
•Knowledge of ‘current thinking’ and best practice approaches to inform strategic decision making and planning for product management
Skills and personal qualities
•Self-motivated, proactive and able to prioritise workload
•Able to communicate effectively with the team
•Experience of inputting data into and analysing complex databases
•Competent in standard office software, e.g. MS Office
•Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
•Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
•Detail-oriented
