Job description
A strategic client of Flomatik is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Outside Ir35 Contractor) to support their VoIP/SIP platform and product development, therefore, Flomatik are looking to recruit a highly technical, experienced, hands-on resource with experience of working in a test lab and production environment managing, coordinating, facilitating & executing test plans, defect management and status reporting.
The position will be predominantly remote-based but working in the lab environment may be required from time to time, requiring the SME to have demonstrable hands-on experience and technical knowledge of SBCs and IP PBX systems including but not limited to:
Cisco CUBE, Cisco CUCM, Ribbon SBC, Avaya & Mitel SBCs & IP PBXs and must have a sound understanding of audio codecs
The SME must be able to:
- Coordinate resources for testing (people, kit, etc.)
- Design the test lab environment (platform installation & commissioning, configuration, basic networking, trouble shooting)
- Manage & execute testing of the service, including SIP trace collection, management & review
- Carry out defect investigation & management
- Author documentation (process updates, test plans, test results, config documents etc.)
- Produce regular status reports as agreed
