About the Role
Base Location: Reading
Salary: £30,273 - £35,194 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available – this is a Hybrid role currently working in the office two days a week.
What is the Role?
As a Smart Rollout Coordinator, you will support the requirements of the Smart Installation regime running to June ’25. Working as part of the Smart meter roll out programme you will play a vital role building & maintaining strong relationships with our larger customers, third parties, managing agents and Installers to ensure that each customer has a successful Smart Meter rollout. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with a portfolio of customers using various communication channels to ensure each has a smart roll out plan for their remaining traditional meters.
- Building relationships with internal Customer Solutions teams to ensure each rollout has the best possible chance of success by sharing key customer insight and challenging teams to discuss smart with your customers at every possible opportunity with relayed intelligence.
- Liaising with and challenging external Meter Operators (MOPs) to ensure each roll out has an effective plan of action whilst investigating & overcoming risks and issues.
- Maintaining campaign databases with accurate customer information, including but not limited to; Detailed communications with customers, next actions required and forecasts of likely appointments/installs.
- Communicate with internal and external customers via various communication methods to achieve targets. Activities to be governed/prioritised by Key Performance Indicators.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience working in an Account Management role within the energy sector or similar organisation.
- An understanding of the Energy sector and Smart Metering, including governing bodies (Ofgem, DESNZ etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend and articulate findings is essential.
- Proven experience of managing customer portfolios and workload to deliver on business KPI’s.
- Competency in using reporting programs such as Excel and Power BI would be advantageous but is not essential.
