Briskona have been offering a range of Broadband services to businesses and residential customers in Scotland since 2011. Based in Stirling, our friendly company displays a great team ethic with a huge focus on customer service and community.
- Working in beautiful rural environments for Briskona, as a Fixed Wireless Access Engineer you will be supporting the Wireless Delivery Manager with new projects, delivering to time cost and scope
- Installations of Agricultural CCTV for livestock monitoring
- Assisting the Network Operations Centre with fault response, diagnostics and rectification
- Engaging with customers to assist with fault diagnostics and new installations
- Line of Site testing for new radio links
- Point to point radio link installation
The job role will be varied, and your skills and knowledge will be adapted over time to increase your personal skills portfolio .
The job will be 37.5 hours, full-time 5/7 days with a requirement to be on-call at times and attendance flexibility when customer needs dictate.
You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:
- Must be physically fit and have a strong grasp of H&S working at height in an RF environment, involves climbing to a height of Experience of working in a wireless broadband environment
- Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence.
- Experience of IP Based CCTV systems
- Installations Experience
- Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of basic networking
- Strong computer skills
- Field technical experience: 2 years (Required)
