Job Details:Our clienthave an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join their fantasticteamin Manchester.This role is for aproactive RVN to join their team. Thispractice is a relatively new practice and would provide interesting opportunities for any RVN who could help themto shape and grow the practice.The position will be a full-time role with a share of Saturday mornings (37.5 hours per week). Thisis a flexible working practice, as their teams work-life balance and wellbeing is always top priority.They have regular team days out doing activities such as escape rooms, kayaking, bottomless brunches and crazy golf to name just a few! Theyare a clinically progressive practice, so theirideal candidate would be an RVN who wants to provide a high-quality service to the pets under their care but is also a team player that would love to get involved in their organised activities outside of work. Theyhold monthly team meetings and encourage input from all team members.This is a purpose-built practice with great facilities including 4 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, isolation ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new laparoscopic equipment. Theyare also a training practice and so would encourage anyone who has a desire to become a clinical coach. Their experienced team includes a Clinic Director, two further veterinary surgeons alongside a Clinic Manager/HVN, 3 nurses and 2 client care co-ordinators.
Applicant Requirements
This is a new role, introduced due to continued growth at the clinicand therefore its important that the successful candidate has the following skills,Competent and confident with Schedule 3 under vet direction, RCVS registered. Someone with good communication skills andorganisation skills and proactive nature to drive, lead and coordinate nurse clinics. The desire to provide a high standard of nursing to the pets under theircare, for learning and teaching, with the confidence and desire to bring the team together.
