This is an exciting and challenging role which will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to work as part of a supportive urgent care pathway that is focused on delivering high standards of care through evidence- based practice, and to develop leadership skills.

The post holder will offer assessment, formulation and treatment of adults presenting in crisis with a range of mental health difficulties, working closely with hospital teams to provide and enable psychologically informed care, as well as to facilitate liaison between the Psychiatric Liaison Service and other mental health community inpatient teams post discharge from hospital.

To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to get fully vaccinated against COVID.

This job will require direct face to face working with services. Applicants should have;

It is an exciting time to join our service as we are building our psychosis, complex emotional difficulties and mood pathways. Successful applicants, dependant on skills and interest, can make choices about which pathway they wish to be involved in. You will be supported within job plans to be part of Clinical Academic Groups, which provide access to specialist training such as Daniel Freeman's Feeling Safe Programme. We also have links to Surrey University's Clinical Psychology training programme.
