We are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join our supportive and welcoming team.
Briar Dawn Veterinary Centre is a modern, small animal veterinary practice in Oldham, Lancashire and is a gateway to the beautiful Pennines. We provide an excellent service to our clients and offer an excellent work-life balance to our team.
Our practice is well-equipped, Dental radiography, digital x-ray, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, slit lamp, tonometer, electro-cautery. Our team are forward thinking and always aim to give the best clinical care possible to our patients. We currently have 4 full-time vets (3 of whom are studying for certificates) and one part-time vet. We are an RCVS approved Graduate Development Practice and have a new graduate vet starting in September, but are still looking to expand the team.
Our amazing team of Vets, Nurses and Receptionists will support you, backed up by the support of both our Practice Director and Clinical Director. Our veterinary team work closely sharing knowledge and like to discuss cases and our Nurses can offer you lots of support. Our super organised receptionist team are great at helping us prep for our day and are loved by our amazing clients!
This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week, over 4 days, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-3pm). No OOH or on-call duties are required in this role.
Excellent salary package: Experienced Vets up to £55k, dependent on experience, and Advanced Practitioners up to £87k, dependent on experience.
