Job description

You’ll be facilitating a best-in-class educational experience that uses the power of television to equip young people with skills for the future. Using custom software and studio equipment, you will take small groups of students through the process of making content.
What you'll do:
  • Successfully facilitate three Sky Up Academy Studios sessions for young people aged 8-16
  • Actively support young people who present with SEND to ensure session meets their needs
  • Be responsible for briefing all visitors to Sky Up Academy Studios and complete tours which will open the door to the world of work at Sky
  • Establish boundaries and challenge inappropriate behaviour
  • Attend regular training and development opportunities to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and local policy developments
  • Work with the Young People Executive on the school’s recruitment strategy with specific focus on underserved areas
  • Ensure all the correct due diligence has been done, including all safeguarding, legal, data protection and health and safety
  • Support Young People Manager and Head of Young People with overall department strategy working closely with peers
