We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Operative to join our talented team in Tayside on a temporary basis. We aim to deliver the highest quality products for our customers so you’ll need to share our enthusiasm for standards and best practice, and exceeding expectations too. About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Operative to join our talented team in Tayside on a temporary basis. We aim to deliver the highest quality products for our customers so you’ll need to share our enthusiasm for standards and best practice, and exceeding expectations too. As a Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Installing and altering pedestrian barriers, heras fences and safety signs
- Joinery work – removing and re-installing suspended ceiling, MDF box outs, plasterboard works
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and other equipment.
- Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
- Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits
- Maintain daily allocation sheets for your work
- Man the security gate if and when required
- Bank vehicles on and off site as requested by management
- Carry out litter picks to site boundary as required by site management
- Log materials on site and assist with distribution as required
