Skilled Production Operative

Full Time, Permanent, and Weekly paid on Fridays.

Shift/Pay:

Day Shift 6am-4pm, 4 on 2 off: £11.11 per hour

Evening Shift 4pm-2am, 5 from 7: £12.06 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

Night Shift 9pm-6am, 4 on 2 off: £13.05 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

Training and progression opportunities

• We are pleased to be able to offer a FREE day shift bus service to and from our Tilmanstone site from Folkestone and Dover route.

For day shift, busses leave daily from Margate Train Station at 04.14 or from Folkestone Bus Station at 04.53, with return journeys from Tilmanstone setting off at 16.00.

For evening shifts, busses leave daily from Margate Train Station at 14:30, or from Matalan Car Park, Ashford at 14.30 with return, to Bakkavor Salads Tilmanstone, Kent.

We manufacture a wide range of high-quality fresh prepared food. Which means, our production lines are non-stop. So, you will be kept busy checking product quality and making our food. You’ll enjoy plenty of variety too. You’ll be right at the heart of our fast-paced, high-pressured environment, helping us to consistently manufacture and deliver to top supermarkets across the UK.

From machine operatives to mixing operatives, technicians, QCs or key operatives, you’ll always focus on safety, speed and accuracy. Using your previous experience of food manufacturing, you’ll always aim to deliver high-quality in a right first-time environment.

We’re looking for hardworking people, willing to learn and keen to progress. Familiar with the demands of a fast-paced production environment, you’ll have a good understanding of food safety best practice. You must cooperate with the business in their objective to positively impact the environment and follow established environmental procedures when performing tasks and using equipment and materials.
