Skilled Fabricator/TIG welder needed in Brackley

Hitchcox Motorcycles was born out of a career in F1 engineering. We handcraft expertly engineered custom exhausts for cafe racer-style motorbikes out of our Workshop in Brackley, Northamptonshire. We blend a passion for high-performance, classic motorcycles with an expertise in the engineering and manufacturing of their components.

We launched in April 2022 and are looking for our first employee who wants to be part of an exciting growing global business. The quality of our exhausts is everything, so we will only hire the most skilled Fabricator/Welder with strong attention to detail, who takes pride in their work. You’ll have the opportunity to see the company grow rapidly and manage and develop junior members of the team to become highly skilled.

About you

You are a skilled Fabricator/TIG Welder, who has experience with exotic materials such as Titanium and Stainless steel. You must have previous exhaust manufacturing experience in the Motorsport or specialist Automotive industry.

As a rapidly growing company, the job will be quite varied and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of things, whether it be handcrafting one of our exhausts, going to the dyno, or training one of our new recruits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a skilled TIG welder
  • Exhaust manufacturing experience in the Motorsport or specialist Automotive industry
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances to achieve the best quality
  • Fabricate item prototypes and build jigs to ensure accuracy in production
  • Very strong attention to detail and care and pride in your work
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and equipment
  • Experience in training and managing

Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year
