Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a multi functional team to ensure the safe, effective management, maintenance and operation of the Site Utilities & Site Services facilities including steam generation, effluent treatment plant, compressed air, and other ancillary site infrastructure systems
Ensure all equipment and processes are maintained, inspected and operated in full compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and site standards
Oversee and support the daily direction and coordination of FM activities
Demonstrated leadership experience, support and coach team members, motivate them and elevate their capabilities
Good interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people.
A ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving (RCPS – Root Cause Problem Solving).
A committed and flexible approach.

This position requires knowledge and ability typically associated with a Bachelor’s degree.
Proven experience within technical/process role in a manufacturing facility
Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to excel in a team environment is essential.
The incumbent also must have broad knowledge and significant experience in the technical and operations areas and a working knowledge of multi-functional issues.
Experience and understanding of high-pressure steam generation, Boiler House management and compliance
Experience and understanding of wastewater effluent treatment management and compliance
Preferably have some knowledge of Rockwell Distributed Control Systems.
Experience and understanding of compressed air generation management and compliance
Good interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people.
Computer literacy skills.
A ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving.
Desire and work towards obtaining a BOAS Managers Qualification (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) which provides national accreditation for industrial boiler operators available to apply for when familiarisation of the boiler plant/equipment has been gained (typically 6 months).
