Company
Our client is a leading building contractor specialising in the housing and education sector, and has a history of delivering high quality projects ranging from specialist refurbishment, roof replacements, traditional construction, internal & external upgrades, and new builds.
Due to new contract wins and an expanding order book, it is now looking to employ a Site Supervisor working on their new Planned Preventative Maintenance contract with a major housing association.
Role
The immediate role is overseeing roof replacement and external works measured term to existing residential housing stock on a five-year scheme for a large housing association.
Working alongside a dedicated site supervisor, you will be responsible for managing labour, dealing with deliveries and giving technical advice. You will also manage quality control- dealing with snagging and checking the quality of installation.
The company has a five-year PPM contract to complete pitched roofing refurbishments of 4,000 homes throughout Oxford, Swindon and Winchester.
Candidate
- For this role you must have at least 5 years’ experience as a pitched roofing tradesperson, preferably in refurbishment
- You must live locally
- Comfortable managing labour yourself
- Excellent communication skills
