Site Supervisor

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our team which will initially be based in the Skegness area but will be based at different sites in the future so flexibility on travel and location will be required. The role is varied and interesting, and a great opportunity for somebody looking to further develop a career.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have held a Site Supervisor position within the construction sector.

Key Role and Responsibilities

The candidate will have responsibility for all site activities within the area, including:-

  • Liaise with the clients on all aspects of contract delivery
  • Organise labour, equipment & materials as per contract requirement
  • Delivering the contract in line with company key KPI’s i.e. cost, risk control and objectives
  • To manage staff in the execution of their work, ensuring staff follow information detailed on method statements, COSHH Assessments & Risk Assessments
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures & working practices are adhered on site
  • To ensure all documentation is reviewed & present prior to commencing work
  • Carry out morning meetings with team detailing work & key objectives
  • Take ownership & ensure quality plans are worked to at all times and liaise with relevant person’s to sign off operations as & when completed
  • Manage & organise all written instructions from the client for work being undertaken.
  • Ensure all equipment is certified and fit for use, maintaining service record/registers
  • Ensure appropriate Management is present at all times & manage accordingly including all overtime worked.

The Candidate

  • Previous supervisory experience within the construction industry and preferably with care homes, social housing, school and other commercial contracts
  • Must be SSSTS, CSCS certified
  • Be a good communicator at all levels including clients, management and operatives
  • Must have a driving licence as this role involves travel and comes with a company van
  • Preferably time served tradesperson with NVQ2 or above and IPAF/PASMA/WORKING AT HEIGHTS certified
  • Being proficient in Microsoft teams would be advantages, however training can be given
