Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and processes: The site supervisor should have a strong understanding of the construction industry and be able to oversee the work of multiple contractors and tradespeople.
Strong communication and leadership skills: The site supervisor should be able to effectively communicate with the team, clients, and other stakeholders, as well as lead and motivate the team to ensure the project is completed on time and to a high standard.
Attention to detail: The site supervisor should be able to identify potential problems or issues and have the ability to quickly find solutions to prevent delays or costly mistakes.
Flexibility and adaptability: The site supervisor should be able to adapt to changing project requirements and handle unexpected challenges that may arise during the construction process.
Time management skills: The site supervisor should be able to effectively manage their own time and the time of the team to ensure that the project stays on schedule.
Safety focus: The site supervisor should prioritize the safety of all team members and ensure that all safety protocols are followed at all times.
