By joining our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Site Supervisor in our Operations Team, you'll work with true experts wholl share their knowledge and provide support, encouragement, and invaluable feedback so you never stop learning. Based across the UK on our projects you will work on our Large Infrastructure within our Power Transmission and Distribution Projects. Roles include a generous subsistence package (subject to T&C's), Allowances, Pension, and career progression within the industry. What you'll be doing Have responsibility for ensuring the operatives on the project are trained to carry out the works in a safe, competent and timely manner using the appropriate type and quantities of Plant and Equipment. Working in partnership with the Site Engineer(s) to ensure the project is delivered to programme, discussing and resolving any project delivery issues that may arise. Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions whilst at work. Cooperate with BB in all matters pertaining to Health and Safety to enable the Company to carry out and enhance its legal duties and requirements Manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets on projects Develop and support the operational teams to be successful by talking positively, listening actively and encouraging constantly Review the scope of works to be carried out with the Project and/or Site Engineers, identifying and agreeing safe systems of work to be employed. Liaise with the Project and/or Site Engineer to ensure a timely requisition for sufficient plant and equipment is made, giving adequate notice to Resources. Review method statements and risk assessments that are specific to construction activities and assist in compiling the Work packs ensuring they contain all relevant information Ensure that accidents and incidents are promptly reported, giving accurate details established at the time of the incident. Ensure Permit to Work near Existing Services documentation is clearly and correctly carried out for all groundbreaking activities related to construction works.
