Bernard Matthews are recruiting for a Site Services Manager at our Great Witchingham site near Norwich.
- Reports directly into the Head of Engineering for the site
- Maintain safety standards, ensuring that all relevant legislation, regulations & standards are adhered to
- Develop and manage a 5-10 capital investment plan, aligned with the business growth strategy
- Develop and manage a Business Continuity Plan, which protects the supply network of the business in the event of a critical failure/interruption of service across our utility infrastructure
- Maximise operating time and production efficiency through a reliable utilities infrastructure which offer redundancy based upon a criticality assessment of the plant
- Effective and experienced leader, who can positively engage and lead a team of service engineers
- Identify root causes of failures and to eliminate, via capital/revenue and general CI projects
- Lead external and internal audits from a site services perspective, ensuring that records are always maintained and available
- Working closely with the site Maintenance Manager to hit Customer Service Levels (CSL) daily
- Role model our business values at all times
- Develop and manage an effective PPM schedule (internal and external).
- Ensure appropriate service contracts are in place and managed for key services across site
Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing the following systems:
- Steam Generation and distribution
- LPG supply distribution
- Electrical distribution (Preferably with HV switching)
- LEV systems
- HVAC, Chill and Freezer complex (Including Ammonia plant, Glycol etc.)
- Thermal Oil systems
- Compressed air generation and distribution
- Water extraction and distribution
- Cleaning/hygiene systems
- Vacuum generation and distribution
- Cooling towers
- Effluent Plant
- Experienced project engineering within the service/utility discipline
- Comprehensive knowledge linked to current legislation, regulations, and general compliance within the service/utility discipline
- Commitment to safety, quality and customer service

- Work within agreed budget and timescales to deliver objectives OTIF.
- Implementation of comprehensive metering network across core site utility, to monitor and improve consumption rates aligned
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
