Join us as a member of our caretaking team and make a difference to the environment where the students live and learn. You’ll have a number of important roles:
Overseeing the security of Ullenwood campus and its grounds, including opening and closing buildings
Have a working knowledge of all building services including fire alarms /intruder alarms / nurse call system/ heating / electrics / CCTV and swimming pools.
Meeting and greeting guests to our StarGlamping site when reception is closed
Helping to distribute deliveries and parcels around campus
Supporting our recycling and waste management efforts
Testing portable appliances (PAT testing)
Being the point of contact for all emergency services, acting as their guide when on shift
Helping to maintain the site during periods of ice and snow
Occasionally supporting the horticultural team in maintaining our beautiful grounds
You will be working shifts on a seven day on, seven day off basis. Typical shifts will be : Early (6am – 2.30pm), Late (2pm – 10.30pm) Nights (10pn – 6.30am). Enhanced rates of pay are on offer for night shifts (£11.76) and weekends (£12.80 Days / £14.88 nights)
