For over 20 years Timberpak has sourced waste wood for the EGGER UK chipboard production sites.
As the largest user of recycled timber in the UK wood panel industry, EGGER has an ongoing requirement for waste wood. We therefore never turn waste wood away at our Timberpak Yorkshire, Timberpak North East, Timberpak Scotland and Timberpak South East sites.
Your Tasks
- Operate as a member of the Timberpak team, ensuring the site is maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Operate and maintain mobile plant, moving material around the site and feeding machinery. Reporting any issues to the Site Supervisor.
- Record inbound and outbound material accurately using the basic functions of the weighbridge software.
- Comply with all Timberpak safety precautions and procedures and ensure that all tasks are conducted in a safe working manner, duly reporting any incidents, accidents or hazards
- Operate efficiently and safely whilst being aware of the site production targets.
Our Requirments
- Reasonable standard of secondary education.
- Recognised certificate for mobile plant (Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator) is preferred, however training can be provided if required.
- Health and Safety aware.
- Able to follow, understand and interpret systems of work and procedures.
- Able to work 47.5 hours per week (including paid lunch breaks) between the hours of 07:30am - 17:00hrs, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work occassionaly required.
