Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our Building Division on a Hospital development in Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the fit-out process for our projects, taking the development from a concrete floor through to handover. They will ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Healthcare experience is highly advantageous,
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the fit-out process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that all required materials are ordered and delivered on time.
- Ensure that all safety standards are met and that all workers are properly trained.
- Manage and supervise the work of subcontractors and other workers involved in the fit-out process.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure that work is progressing according to schedule and quality standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients as required.
- Provide guidance and support to other members of the construction team as needed.
This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Site Manager and the range of duties to be undertaken.
It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
