Job description
Due to continual expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a site supervisor- Project co-Ordinator to join our team. The role will lead and organise ongoing projects on sites based in the UK. This new role will involve issuing site inductions, permits to work, monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, organising and participating in meetings, handling suppliers and contractors’ performance relating to quality and timescale / deadlines and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Site Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Managing the day to day running of projects including sub-contractors on site.
- Managing labour and materials on site to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Issuing permits to work, site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Ensuring compliance of Health and Safety on site with support from rhames SHEQ Manager.
- Ability to identify project variations and communicate this back to the Project Manager.
- Working closely with the Project Manager to maintain and monitor project plans, including weekly and monthly progress reports on site.
- Participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings / designs.
- Providing administrative support as/when required.
- Create project logs and report back to the project manager, following certain actions and objectives.
- Review tender scopes to gather a full understanding of what the project entails / includes.
- Complete daily site inspections on equipment and equipment tags to ensure compliance.
Site Supervisor Requirements:
Essential
- Previous construction experience
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
Desirable
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- SSSTS
- First Aid
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
