Job description
Our client is a leading facades contractor within the Cladding , EWI & External Wall Insulation Sector.
Currently have a requirement for a Site Manager from a facade , cladding background. Involving EWI.. for a 43 Wk duration with option of possible permanent positions or on-going freelance works if required.
Must be experienced in working in demanding areas/situations and knowledgeable in this field of work. Experience in BAA or MOD types of work would be advantageous in respect of the demands of stakeholders, planning, permits, logistics etc, as there are multiple different stakeholders involved.
Suitable candidates will have excellent planning skills and is very approachable. Experience of Considerate Contractor scheme would be also beneficial as this will be in place for this scheme.
To include removal of current system & reclad , Installation of EWI.
Excellent day rates available. (DOE ).
Previous highlighted experience of Cladding , Facade and External Wall Insulation is essential. As is SMSTS , First Aid. references.
Duties
- Write and update RAMS
- Coordinating handovers and sign offs
- Implement and Improve existing procedures
- Lead the day-to-day running of site activities
- Update and check against the construction Programme
- Photograph key stages of installation and upload to the company’s quality management system
- Preparation of site documents such as work orders and purchase orders etc
- Responsible for the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site
- Ensuring quality standards are achieved implementing inspection and test plans.
- Communicate effectively with the client, sub - contractors and senior management team
- Good client facing communication, understand drawing and technical aspects of the work, be able to manage trades on site, ordering materials, work to program. Good IT /email skills , be prepared to complete QMS and compliance paperwork and photos.
