Hexpress Healthcare is a leading online healthcare provider based in London. We supply patients with health solutions and medical advice across multiple countries worldwide, continuously expanding into new markets. We are now looking for a Nutritionist.
Job Title: Nutritionist
Responsible to: Clinical Lead
Location: Hybrid working with site attendance in Croydon when required
Working Pattern: Contract role 2-3 days per week
Job Purpose
We are looking for a licensed nutritionist to provide our patients with comprehensive advice on matters of wellbeing. As an expert in food and nutrition, people depend on you to guide them towards better eating habits to prevent ill-health. We’re looking for a self-motivated, highly energetic professional who understands the nutritional needs specifically for patients who want to lose weight
Requirement and Skills
- Proven experience as nutritionist
- Thorough understanding of biochemistry and human physiology
- Good understanding of research methods and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and critical thinking
- Degree in nutritional science, dietetics or relevant field
- Valid license to practice the profession
· Understanding of diabetic nutrition a plus
Main Tasks
1. Be willing to be the face of all communications in relation to nutrition
2. Publish or review website content on nutritional habits and practices for our website
3. Attend a multidisciplinary team meeting once a month in relation to nutrition
4. Evaluating the dietary needs of a client by assessing their health and exercise levels, sleep and food habits etc.
5. Clarifying information to clients and explaining the effects of nutrients on overall health condition
6. Offer counselling and suggest positive alterations in nutrition to address clients’ dietary restrictions
7. Create complete and personalised nutrition plans that promote healthy diet
8. Set clear objectives and provide support to patients to help them with their progress
