Job description
My client is looking for a Site Supervisor / Site Manager join their team initially overseeing a small project which is the construction of a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at a Primary school. The works are relatively straight forward and invole the supervision of 2 subcontractors who will be carrying out the Groundworks and Fencing works and associated landscaping for the scheme. Both subcontractors have worked with my client for many many years and enjoy a great working relationship.
As site manager / site supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring works are directed, H&S procedures are enforced, programme is discussed and works managed against and ensuring the overall quality of works and dealing with any design, logistical or day to day issues.
You must hold at least SSSTS or SMSTS and First Aid Certificates
This role would suit an aspiring Manager who has come up the ranks and holds the relative H&S certificates and is looking to prove themselves on what is initially a straightforward project
There is the potential of continual work following the completion of this project as my client likes to move their supervisors and managers from scheme to scheme if they can and as a regional New Build, Refurbishment and Fit Out contractor working in the Education, Health, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Residential sectors throughout Yorkshire, enjoying a first class reputation, they have a constant stream of projects to keep the right individuals going.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary: £19.00-£21.50 per hour
