Job Title: Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for a leading residential developer in the UK, who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take a 60 unit new build timber frame project from groundworks to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential projects and will be responsible for overseeing the construction and delivery of projects, with a know-how of programming and property development.
You must have extensive timber frame experience.
As site manager will be no1 on site, reporting to the construction director.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the construction and delivery of a 60 unit timber frame site, ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
- Leading a team of site labour and operatives, providing direction and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Ensuring that all projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards
Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Site Manager in the residential construction industry
- Overseen a project as No1 on site
- Extensive Timber Frame experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulation
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
