Site Manager

Frizington

Circa 12 months

The Vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our new build housing development based in Frizington, consisting of 7 luxury new homes.

Duties will include:

• Assist in the development and the continuous monitoring and updating of the Construction Phase Plan and its requirements
• Keep Project Manager/Contract Manager and Site Supervisors advised of any problems with subcontractors
• Complete the contract in accordance with the agreed Programme
• Issue subcontractors with regular programme to ensure the planned progress is achieved
• Attend weekly update meetings with senior management to discuss progress
• Supervising and overseeing the installations.
• Liaising with the quantity surveyor to monitor cost
• Assisting trades when required

Experience

• Previous experience as a Site Manager working on a new build housing development
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour groundworker, contractors
• Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes
• SMSTS
• First aid trained
