The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our new build housing development based in Frizington, consisting of 7 luxury new homes.
Duties will include:
- Assist in the development and the continuous monitoring and updating of the Construction Phase Plan and its requirements
- Keep Project Manager/Contract Manager and Site Supervisors advised of any problems with subcontractors
- Complete the contract in accordance with the agreed Programme
- Issue subcontractors with regular programme to ensure the planned progress is achieved
- Attend weekly update meetings with senior management to discuss progress
- Supervising and overseeing the installations.
- Liaising with the quantity surveyor to monitor cost
- Assisting trades when required
Experience
- Previous experience as a Site Manager working on a new build housing development
- Must have extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour groundworker, contractors
- Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes
- SMSTS
- First aid trained
