Avaliable Job Today Walker Precision Engineering are a manufacturing company who work in close partnership with clients across the Aerospace and Defence sectors to provide a full range of engineering solutions from their sites in Scotland and Poland.
We are looking to create a facilities team based from our head office in Glasgow who set and maintain high standards of housekeeping; keeping the whole site clean, safe and healthy. This day-shift position works with the Health and Safety Manager and the various team leaders to ensure all shared and working areas are reflective of the high standards we set ourselves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep all shared areas clean and presentable, particularly reception, canteen and open office areas.
- Sweep throughout production areas and clean floors as necessary
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in toilet and washroom facilities across the site
- Notify of any H&S or maintenance issues
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure jobs are completed as planned.
Experience working in a contract cleaning or production environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
