Job description
We are a car transportation company based near Carlisle Airport with a fleet of over 500 car transporters who are part of the Constellation Automotive Group of Companies, including other companies such as We Buy Any Car.com, Cinch and British Car Auctions.
ECM are currently recruiting for a professional and experienced single car transporter driver for a 4x4 and trailer. You will work within the Corporate Deliveries Department and our goal is to provide the very best possible delivery service for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, be patient, well-presented, polite, courteous, organised, and willing to go above and beyond to provide the required exceptional service. The working week will be Monday to Friday, however flexibility is crucial due to varying start and finish times. Remuneration for this role is approximately £30,000, depending on hours worked.
A typical day will involve collection of new and used vehicles from our compounds, and delivery to end customers (business and private), retailers, auction sites or hire car companies. An excellent attention to detail is required for initial inspection of the vehicle, and completion of collection/delivery paperwork. Good working knowledge of electronic delivery paperwork systems preferential.
Full product training will be provided to give you the tools you need to deliver a premium service to match our customer’s prestigious brand identities. Previous driving experience in a similar customer-facing role and experience driving with a trailer is essential. We will not accept anyone with more than 3 penalty points or with a DR pr DD licence endorsement.
You will be based out of Immingham, so the ability to commute to work daily is required.
Minimum requirements
· Eligibility to work in the U.K.
· Must have at least a valid driver's license with valid B&E towing.
· Must have valid Driver digital Tachograph Card.
· Driver CPC Card desirable, however not essential.
