Siemens Energy Graduate Program – Project Entity (m/f/d)

What You Can Expect
Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.
From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with three individually designed assignments, including one eight-months assignment abroad (Covid permitting).
You will be assigned a mentor and will shadow a role or position to support you in reaching your individual career goals and network with peers and business leaders. You’ll also have access to the resources to help you grow!
We have strong Project delivery teams supporting a diverse and technical product line and you will have many exciting opportunities to develop your knowledge and career. You’ll get to know us from the inside, develop your natural talents on the job - and become a part of the teams shaping the future of the energy infrastructure in the UK.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- Gain hands-on experience in an exciting and challenging project environment.
- Learn/improve your engineering and critical thinking skills in a variety of teams in the Siemens Energy Projects’ business.
- Collaborate with a variety of key engineering and non-engineering business functions to understand what it takes to keep an EPC business running.
- Take part in our Societal Engagement schemes, where you can push the business further and change its course, as well as represent us externally such as at STEM events.
- Seek out opportunities that will strengthen your skills and enhance your knowledge to continue to support the business and your career development path.
- Support Project Managers in their tasks and participate in all areas of project delivery.
- Maintain a personal log of activities undertaken and achievements completed.
- Contribute to the Siemens philosophy of ZERO HARM at all times.
- Maintain adequate QA documentation for assigned tasks.
- Represent the business at site and customer progress meetings as required.
What You Bring

- Communication & Co-ordination skills working across sites and staff disciplines.
- Investigative techniques and critical thinking.
- Teamwork and adaptability, with evidence of successful project delivery.
- Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment.
- A master's degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent in either Electrical Engineering disciplines, Project Management or Renewable Energy Infrastructure.
- Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working.
- Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program.
