Project Coordinator
Position Overview:
Multimatic is a global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs around the world.
Multimatic Niche Volume Assembly is looking for a Project Coordinator to work in the production area and prepare and assemble parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within a highly dynamic team to deliver world class customer service
- Once trained, tasks include but are not limited to:
- Planning and coordinating weekly customer shipments
- Coordinating shipping times with freight forwarders
- Producing and supplying shipping documentation
- Communicating with freight forwarders providing weights and dimensions
- Communicating with suppliers and arranging parts collection times
- Update Excel worksheets and producing shipping overviews
- Day to day support for the project director
- Lead process improvements and continuous improvement projects
- Leading and updating the logistics team with daily meetings
- Supporting and the project team to communicate and provide up to date and accurate picking lists, shipping overview and operational updates to the stores and logistics teams.
- Support stock control by alerting when inventory drops set levels
- Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience influencing and driving a motivated dynamic team in a project environment is advantageous but not essential.
- High level of communication skills required to communicate effectively to all levels of the business.
- Comprehensive Excel experience is essential and SAP experience is an advantage.
- Previous shipping experience highly desired.
- Experience of compliance and improvement.
- A good standard of English is required, be able to read, write & speak English.
- Willingness to learn new skills and desire for personal development.
- Proactive approach to work, eye for detail and a big focus on quality.
- Punctual and flexible approach.
- Strong team player with self-motivation.
