Your Role Responsibilities/Duties may include but not limited to;
· Observing people and identifying suspicious behaviour then dealing with it accordingly
· Patrolling and securing the area. Hostel premises and the surrounding area Particularly the area adjacent to Queens square
· Monitoring and analysing CCTV camera footage. Working together with Receptionist under their supervision.
· Guarding valuables in a secure area. Make sure all storage rooms are kept safe
· Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
· Responding to alarms and emergencies.
· Communicating any irregularities with management.
· Keeping an incident report record.
· Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, and accident investigations
· Checking visitors in and out of the area. Door monitoring asking for Key card.
· Escorting visitors around the premises.
· Be aware of hostel policies regarding noise, food, and drink consumption
· Ensuring compliance with government regulations
· When or if an incident occurs you must co-operate with the police, first aiders and management.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, WC1N 1DF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- security: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- SIA (preferred)
