Job description
Are you a Security Officer based around the Portsmouth area? Do you want to be part of a security company who has a conscience?
Perfect - keep reading! Code 9 Security is seeking SIA Licensed Event Security Officers to join our incredible team. If you're ready to showcase your hard work and dedication, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
As an Event Security Officer, you'll be the face of our company, providing outstanding customer service. From warmly greeting guests to managing entry and exit routes, your role will be essential in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Don't worry if you lack previous experience - we'll provide comprehensive training and support.
We understand the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Our shifts are designed to accommodate your other responsibilities, and we believe in creating an enjoyable work environment. With the chance to work with fantastic clients, you'll find excitement in every assignment.
As each event differs in terms of timing and requirements, our scheduling software provides complete visibility, keeping you informed about the location, event type, and responsibilities but most will be weekend events.
Pay & Benefits
In recognition of your hard work, we offer a very competitive pay rate of between £12.50 - £15.50 per hour (depending on the role and nature of the event). We pay on the 28th of each month but have partnered with Wagestream, as we appreciate that life doesn’t always wait around for payday. Wagestream gives you early access to some pay for hours worked before the end of the month or in increments - rather than in a lump - to spread the load.
You'll also receive a suitable uniform and on-site training, along with the opportunity to participate in additional online training to enhance your skills.
At Code 9 Security you’ll enjoy benefits such as a company pension scheme and annual leave accruals.
