Job Title and Location:
Door supervisor, [Cheshire Oaks]
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a professional ‘door supervisor’ to support the operations of the business.
The position is based at a family entertainment complex consisting of bowling, arcade & other activities.
You must hold a valid SIA door supervisor license.
Role Requirements:
We seek to fill this post at the earliest opportunity
27 hours per week.
Week & Weekend Nights
£12 per hour after successful probation period.
Overtime available and must be flexible.
Immediate Start.
6-month probation period.
Relevant site-specific job training will be provided.
Duties are but not limited to:
- Ensure that a safe and pleasant environment is maintained.
- Welcoming customers to the venue when they enter.
- Venue patrols.
- Complete incident reports for any issues that may occur.
- Liaise with police or other emergency services when required.
- Dealing with venue managers.
- Ensure that all policies are implemented and maintained.
- Adhering to security and health and safety procedures.
- Adhering to different Assignment Instructions.
- Duties may vary, depending on which site you cover.
To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be smart and always well presented.
- Have a valid SIA DS licence.
- Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service.
- Have previous experience in the security industry.
- Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements.
- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.
- Be able to work without supervision and as a member of a team.
- Have a full five-year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted.
- Be at ease with using technology to submit reports and communicate with support teams, clients and management.
- Be comfortable dealing with client staff and management and communicating/escalating issues.
