The Spa Cliff Lift is located on the beautiful coast of Scarborough with a sheltered view of the Sea, the Spa Cliff Lift is a funicular railway that avoids the steep hill between the town and the Yorkshire seafront, originally opened on July 6th 1875 the Spa Cliff Lift was the first funicular railway in Great Britain.
As we move into the tourist and event season where Scarborough comes to life, we will soon be opening our Cliff Lift and this is where you come in, we’re looking for a Seasonal Spa Cliff Lift Attendant/Operator to join our team in coordinating the day to day running and service delivery, ensuring our frontline operation provides excellent customer service.
The role
We are looking for people committed to providing a high level of customer service. As our Seasonal Spa Cliff Lift Attendant/Operator you will undertake a varied range of duties including compliance with a number of operational procedures and cash handling. You will also ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.
Core opening hours will be between 10:00am and 5.00pm. There may also be some evening work to support events at the venue.
What you will bring
If you are customer focused, with great communication skills, have knowledge of Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations and have the motivation to learn then we would love to hear from you!
Compromise
Ideally, you will have experience of working within a busy customer focused environment however we welcome all applicants as full training will be given.
