We have an exciting opportunity for a number of general assistants to join our growing business on Bournemouth seafront. Our continuing success is down to the talent and hard work from our people.
The Role
Our general assistant are the face of our business and are there to help customers. As a fast paced retailer we put customers first, second and third in everything we do. This role will require you to have a can-do attitude and to be able to work as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Customer Service-Ensure we always understand our customers’ needs.
· Product Knowledge-Providing detailed information about our products to customers.
· Replenishing Stock- Maintaining high standards throughout your department.
· Merchandising-Following guidelines to make sure products are displayed correctly.
· Targeted on having appropriate Till Point Conversations with every customer to add on sales and increase the average transaction value.
· Working on tills accurately and efficiently, to provide a positive customer experience.
. Undertaking the preparation of the food and beverages
· Understanding and following Food safety & hygiene guidelines
The Requirements
- Experience gained within a retail environment preferred.
- Confident approach towards maximising sales opportunities.
- Flexibility towards working hours.
- Strong communication skills and ability to participate as a key team member.
