Job description
- Day to day running and management of the shop
- Customer satisfaction and service
- Developing strong supplier engagement and liaising with our suppliers for stock delivery
- Stock management including checking, rotating (date checks), ordering, and taking deliveries (checking against invoices and delivery notes)
- Health and safety responsibilities in relation to hygiene, dangerous equipment (alcohol, cigarettes), manual handling and first aid
- Ticketing and pricing of produce
- Dealing with customer complaints appropriately
- Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and addressing hazards
- Ensuring that new products are stocked on shelves and displays are updated regularly
- Overseeing the efficient running of the store by monitoring employee performance, resolving employee issues, and scheduling staff rotations
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues quickly to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
Job Type: Full-time
